At Eris Property Group our primary focus is on the safety of our employees, who are crucial to supporting our business, as well as delivering a continued service to our clients, tenants and service providers.
We fully support President Cyril Ramaphosa and Government's initiatives in attempting to stop the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to provide excellent service to our clients, tenants and service providers. This is a key priority for all our team members, and we are hard at work to prevent any disruption where possible, and to mitigate any negative impact that the virus may have on our operations. At the same time, we are taking responsible actions to do what we can to prevent further spread of the virus, which has already affected so many in the world.
We have established a Coronavirus Steering Committee that thoroughly assesses the situation and continue to follow the guidance from government, local and health authorities.
Focusing first on our workforce, we have recommended our office workers to work from home, where possible to keep them and their families healthy and safe. Our employees are trained and empowered with work-from-home solutions to ensure that we maintain our service standard that you as clients expect from us. For those employees undertaking day-to-day operational work and duties at our Shopping Centres and Office Parks, we have taken additional precautions, such as improved hygiene measures and restricted access for visitors, as well as taking all necessary measures to ensure the absolute safety of our operational personnel.
Given the recent lockdown lift "phased" approach, we cannot exclude any future impact - but please be assured, that our Coronavirus Steering Committee is proactively working to adapt our business processes to the new working environment.
The efforts we have made over the last few years, to deliver excellent service means we are ready and capable to adapt our business model as required. We will continue to closely monitor and assess the situation and react appropriately.
During such difficult times, we anticipate that the experience, expertise and integrity of our team will help us to meet all the challenges that may emerge. We will continue to work diligently to ensure that our clients, our tenants, our partners and service providers remain confident about working with us.
